Introduction

Seven members of Springfield & Mid-Warwickshire MIND created a large and colourful mixed-media artwork called 'We Grow the Same Roses'. The starting point was a poem of the same name from a book that one of the group, Barbara Jones, had been given by her father in 1947.

The work depicts human life as a garden, and after taking three months to complete was put on display in Stratford Library.
