Hidden Histories

October 2003 was Black History Month; and CAW's Hidden Histories project was a great success involving many local people from schools, youth clubs, community groups and 'da streets'.

The workshops and events culminated in a evening of beat poetry - hosted by the one and only Rich Grant AKA Dreadlockalien.

One result of the work was a mini-website full of guidance and information on tracing your roots. The Hidden Histories mini-website can be viewed here (opens in a separate window). Note that some of the external links no longer work as some of the sites have vanished.

The whole project was run by CAW and Dreadlockalien Productions in collaboration.
