The Mysteries, In Our Own Words
The 2009 Belgrade Community Festival used the tradition of mystery plays as a way of involving the local communities in Coventry. The theme was extended from the mystery play as a retelling of Bible stories to include stories from the Qur'an as a way of bringing out the shared heritage of the two religions.
CAW was involved in two of the festival events, these being films of a story from the Bible and a story from the Qur'an, with Chris Bradley directing both.
