Recycling Memories

Recycling Memories is a history project about sustainable living, researched and developed by Bath Place Community Venture in Leamington Spa, and involving the local community. It explored the way people used to live; found out about the recycling we used to do and how we handled our rubbish before we had green bins and red boxes. It looked at sustainable lifestyles in the past, and recorded some of the ways in which people were reducing energy use, preventing waste and supporting local producers.

See the project page on the Bath Place website for more images and information.

The project is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.
