'Free Voices' exhibition
An exhibition of artworks by members of 'Art Venture' will be held in the Old Gallery from Friday 17th June to Friday 24th June 2011, with the opening on Thursday 16th June.
From Thursday 16th until Friday 24th of June Community Arts Workshop will be holding an exhibition of art work called ‘Free Voices’ at the Old Gallery in Avenue Road, next to the Old Library in Leamington.
The opening of the exhibition is from 2-8pm on Thursday the 16th June – everyone is welcome!
The art work to be exhibited has been produced by members, volunteers and staff of the ArtVenture group which aims to support people coping with serious mental health problems. The ArtVenture group has been meeting every Wednesday afternoon in the Old Gallery since 2008.
The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the importance of creative expression and opportunities in supporting people coping with mental health problems.
We would also like to raise awareness of the importance of creative expression and a creative space for the whole community.
Private viewing on Thursday 16th June 2:00pm to 8:00pm. All welcome.
Exhibition open Friday 17th to Friday 24th apart from Sunday 19th June.
Fri 17th: 12:00 midday to 8:00pm
Sat 18th: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Mon 19th to Friday 24th: 10:00am to 6:00pm
