Produced as a series of four short participative films with young people from Warwickshire Counties' Pupil Referral
Units, 'PRU Productions' consists of a collection of videos based on the theme of Crime & Drugs. With each film
having differing creative interpretations, the result is an eclectic and spontaneous mix of humour, sadness,
documentary and reality. Produced, directed, filmed and edited by the young people involved, the resulting fusion of
drama, documentary, music video and reconstruction is an enlightening view into the reality of teenage drug issues.

'Gangsta' Life' is a 20 minute skateboard video shot in and around Leamington Spa, Bristol, Birmingham and features
World Record holder Danny Wainright. 'Gangsta' Life' was produced as a one-to-one 4 month project with a young person
aiming to complete modules for his ASDAN Silver Award.

The SYDNI Centre, built within one of the most disadvantaged wards of Leamington Spa, heralded a spark of hope for a
community gripped by conflict and confrontation. This film documents the day the centre opened and is accompanied by a
vox pops style consultation of the young people who attended, the purpose of which was to eventually lead the
community's youth towards purposeful creative activity.

'People & Places' is an unique and innovative dual-screen documentary which focuses on the lives of people living
within the more socially and economically deprived area of South Town Leamington Spa. Through looking at the divisions
evident between the North and the South of the town, Old Town inhabitants paint a picture that is both bleak and
dystopic as well as humorous and optimistic. 'People & Places' serves to ask questions and invites answers
regarding the nature of community and social cohesion within an increasingly fragmented society.
