The LFC was set up to support and promote the work of local, new and emerging film talent. Up to now the main way by which these aims were being achieved was through the regular, fortnightly group meetings, where prospective film-makers exchanged ideas and supported each other.

All of those involved now seem to have moved on to the next stage, with everyone actively involved in the making of films.

Thus there is no need at present for regular meetings, and everyone is way too busy to organise them, so it is proposed that there will only be one meeting every three months or so.

Information on the progress and outcome of the film projects being undertaken will be provided through the CAW website.
